Facilities include a car park and a barn where bicycles can be locked away. Arnside’s railway station is just 300 metres away and offers fast, easy and convenient access to the rest of the Lake District.

Outside, a terraced garden allows you to watch the river go by or do a spot of bird watching.

The bar is well stocked with traditional beers, lagers and wines and there is a real fire for the winter months. Food is home-cooked and freshly prepared, with daily specials.

The rooms boast fantastic views out over the bay and the mouth of the River Kent to the mountains.

All of the beautifully refurbished en suite rooms have TVs, hairdryers, trouser presses, radio alarms and tea/coffee making facilities.
